What a good website audit should tell you
Most free "website graders" hand you a score and generic advice. A useful audit answers three questions: what exactly is wrong, where, and what to change first. SitePulse ties every finding to observable evidence — for example "the first call to action appears 78% of the way down the page" or "no link to a privacy policy on the pages scanned" — and ranks it Critical, High, Medium or Low.
The checks, in plain English
- Conversion: is there one clear next step near the top? Can people contact you in one click? Are forms asking for too much? Is pricing findable?
- Trust: testimonials or reviews, a guarantee, privacy/terms/refund pages, a phone number or address, an up-to-date copyright year, no "Not secure" warnings.
- SEO: title and description length, one clear H1, canonical tag, XML sitemap, robots.txt, structured data, duplicate or thin pages.
- Technical: HTTPS and redirects, mobile viewport, broken internal links, mixed content, very heavy pages, slow server responses.
Free scan vs full audit
The free scan checks your homepage and shows the most important problems. The $49 full audit scans up to 12 key pages, checks your internal links, compares you with up to 3 competitors and gives you a prioritised action plan you can hand to your web designer.
What we don't do
We don't promise "+37% conversions". Nobody can without your analytics. We tell you what we observed and why it usually matters, and we label judgement calls as inference.
